National Poetry Day Message Poem by Ben, Norton Hill School

Dear Earth
.
We apologise
For causing you trouble
We’re the bad guys
.
We are destroying you,
Though few of us realise
We never pay attention
When a flower dies
.
We will we could make it up to you
But it’s unforgivable
We really are sorry, it’s true
For making you unliveable
.
We wish we would listen
But we’re too ignorant
All the problems that have risen
We are no longer innocent
.
Dear earth
Please forgive us
It’s bad news for everyone
When you’ll turn to dust.
.
